MINISTRY OF DISCIPLING

Serving Christ through the tasks of capital campaigns and improvements, education, and stewardship, in development of the congregation’s discipleship.

Elder members:       Cheryl Wetzel, Gary Hizer
Deacon member:     Martin Cobb
At Large members:

Ministry of Discipling includes two main focus areas:  education and stewardship.

Education:  The Ministry of Discipling in coordination with Pastor Stan Jewell has selected "Feasting on the Word" curriculum for the 2011-2012 Sunday School year.  Sunday school classes are currently provided in the following categories:  grades K – 2, grades 3 – 4, high school and adult Bible study.  This curriculum is connected to the lectionary preached from the pulpit each Sunday. For more detail please see our Christian Education page.

Stewardship:   Our stewardship campaign emphasizes gifts of time and talents, as well as money.  In October 2010 we had a successful stewardship campaign ,using the Consecration Sunday stewardship program, that saw an increase of giving in 63% of our giving units.

Nursery:  St. Paul currently contracts with a professional service to provide consistent paid nursery attendants. This childcare is provided for all members' and visitors' children from birth up to Kindergarten during our worship service each Sunday. This supports the adult education by allowing parents and guardians to attend worship without having to be worried about their precious children.
