MINISTRY OF SERVICE

Serving Christ with the management of the congregation’s financial, property, and personnel resources, which serve our congregation and its mission.

Elder members:       Corey Fuiks, Gary Childress, Matt Gobla
Deacon member:     Don Allensworth
At Large members:

The Ministry of Service has two primary responsibilities: finances and building and grounds.

The treasurer of St. Paul serves on the ministry unit and is responsible for preparing financial documents. The ministry unit helps to prepare and review the balance sheet, annual budget and income statements. The ministry of unit also insures that resources are being spent appropriately and according to the session approved budget.

The other responsibility of the of the Ministry of Service is the upkeep of the building and grounds. MOS currently organizes a grounds clean-up day during the spring which includes exterior maintenance such mulching, painting staining, planting and pruning. The other clean-up day is a interior clean-up which gets the church ready for the upcoming fall programs. MOS is responsible for securing and reviewing our building and grounds maintenance contracts. The ministry unit makes sure that all the building systems and parts such as the heating system, air conditioning, plumbing, lights, etc are in working order. When things are found not to be in working order we either will find volunteers to make the necessary repairs or hire outside vendors.
