Meet Rev. Stan
St Paul Church is blessed to have Reverend. Dr. Stanley(Stan) Jewell as our interim pastor.

Dr. Jewell is a retired Pastor who served as head of staff in two churches in Chicago and Denver Presbytery for 32 years. Most recently he was the Pastor of the Arvada Presbyterian Church for seventeen years until his retirement in 2007. He came out of retirement once to serve as interim Pastor at the Trinity Church in the Pines in Grand Lake, and again to serve St. Paul Presbyterian Church. 

Stan graduated from the University of Dubuque Theological seminary, his Doctorate is in Pastoral Care from McCormick Theological Seminary and he earned a certificate in Spiritual Formation from Columbia Theological Seminary. He recently served 3 years as the Moderator of the Committee on Ministry for Denver Presbytery. Stan is regularly called on to preach and teach across the Presbytery.

Stan is married to Marty a professional clown, mime, magician and balloon artist who likes to share her faith through these mediums. They have two grown children: Becka, an events planner in Livermore, California, and Aaron, a starving  actor in Chicago, Seattle, Milwaukee, or wherever he can find work.
