St Paul Church was blessed to have Reverend Dr. Stan Jewell as our interim pastor for two years. We celebrated his retirement on Sunday November 18th, 2012.
Now we are blessed to have Reverend Lynn Vahle join us as a temporary supply pastor starting March 1st, 2013.
Our Pastor Nominating Committee (PNC) has been diligently reviewing and interviewing candidates.
Following the Presbyterian process, when the PNC has selected their final candidate terms of call will be negotiated. When the negotiating team, candidate, and Presbytery Committee on Ministry have agreed to terms then the Session will review the terms for approval. When Session completes their approval they will authorize the PNC to schedule the candidating weekend.
The candidating weekend is when the final candidate comes to St. Paul Presbyterian to meet the congregation and preach. Following that service a congregational meeting will be held to review the terms of call and take a written vote. At that time the final decision on hiring the candidate will be made and plans to move forward will be put into place.
